The Pastor’s Aide Ministry provides supportive service to the church, pastor and first family to help foster spiritual growth among the membership. The Pastor’s Aide Ministry serves as a spiritual, financial and emotional support system for the pastor and his family. Everything we do as a ministry is done in an effort to build up the Kingdom of God in line with the Pastor’s mission and vision statements.
EPHESIANS 4:11-13
And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelist, and some pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the body of Christ: Till we All come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
OUR MISSION
The Pastor’s Aide’s Ministry mission is to uplift our pastor and his family by constant/continual prayer and to assist them in whatever manner we can and to show care for the members of the church as well.
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The ministry members will contact members of the church who we notice are absent for a few weeks from Sunday services. We will let them know we are concerned about them. The ministry will also provide cards and flowers/fruit baskets as necessary for the elderly, bereaved, and visit sick & shut in members to uplift their spirits. During their visits the ministry members will share Sunday school and Bible Study lessons.
The Pastor’s Aide Ministry is open to anyone that is interested in serving in this capacity. We are always looking for new members to join us in service to the Pastor, Membership and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you are interested, please contact Sister Brenda Heath, the Pastor or any ministry member.
